- Master Class in Traditional East-West Cupping
Cupping is a specialized method of treatment that requires expert instruction, backed by the kind of deep interest and decades of research and practice that inspired us to present the World's first Cupping (and Gua Sha) workshops. We were also the first to teach Traditional Thai Massage in the West.
Our aims are to provide first class training that informs, inspires and delivers exceptional information and practical hands-on training in a friendly, productive environment. Our courses are also aimed at providing therapies that will give you an edge over other practitioners by firstly, getting better results, and secondly, making practice more interesting and saving your hands as well. This especially applies to those who decide to do our cupping and external injury workshops.
We are privileged to be the world leaders in our choice of specialist courses. We began each course only after long practice and research. Our courses are based on an effort to restore ‘forgotten’ practices that had suffered previously from a lack of committed research and enthusiasm.
It is therefore with respect for the traditional practices we present, as well as respect for our students, that has been the driving force of our efforts and long term dedication.
All Health Traditions all workshops are fully accredited and provide credit points for practitioners who are required to fulfill Continuing Professional Education. The Australian school of Traditional Thai Massage also enables practitioners to become members of the Australian Traditional Medicine Association – Australia’s largest natural therapy organization
Our cupping graduates can also join the International Association of Cupping Therapists, a global fraternity of cupping practitioners and be able to share ideas and promote the therapy.
Advanced Certificate in Integrated Cupping Therapy
For practitioners who have completed the three Health Traditions cupping courses, i.e.

…We have decided that a Certificate in Advanced Cupping Therapy is to be presented - in recognition of the successful completion of studies in a full range of cupping practices. Having received this award, practitioners, with our blessing, are able to use and promote the title Cupping Therapist. There are a number of practitioners now who have completed all our workshops in cupping and are practicing it as a specialty. We feel it is appropriate that the knowledge and level of skill attained from completing all three of our cupping workshops deserves such a qualification.
